We've got Visas!

I received our travel visas this morning. We are set to go. Jon's dad, Jim, is having surgery on his hip this morning and need to pray for him for speedy recovery and hopefully not too much pain.

We are now planning on leaving on Saturday, April 7th, due to the flight schedules in Astana. Air Astana changed their schedules and we need to be in Almaty on Monday morning. We should then be able to fly out of Almaty at 9:30 on Monday morning and be in Petropavolvsk by 4PM on Monday. I hope we can go to the MOE on Tuesday morning and then the orphanage. This should also mean that we can get out of Petro sooner and be home by Friday, April 27th.

Also, I hope everyone can pray for Sarah and I. We are already suffering some separation anxiety. She is 9 and we've never been apart more than a few days. I think it is especially hard that we will be gone on Easter Sunday. I did have to promise to make a special call to the Easter bunny and talk to him about making a suprise appearance on Saturday morning instead of Sunday. I think he can handle that. I will miss her so much and seeing her all dressed up for Easter.
