I know all of the folks reading this that are used to feet and feet of snow will just laugh. It is snowing here in Monroe, Louisiana. As of lunch today all the schools closed and I just found out the building where I work was shutting down due to inclement weather. I am still here because I don't have far to drive home. I just called Jon and he is with the girls out playing in the snow. Of course it is about 35 degrees so it is not sticking at all. But it is really pretty. Almira said she misses the snow. I bet she does. Yesterday afternoon it was 65 degrees and me and the girls and Star, the dog went on a 3 mile hike. It felt so wonderful outside.
Well I'm about to head out and make my way home. It is supposed to freeze tonight, so we'll see if anything comes of this white stuff. Of course it is supposed to be in the 40's and sunny tomorrow.
